Where To See Santa In New Hope-Lambertville This Christmas Season
Virtual visits are still an option in many places, but there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.
NEW HOPE, PA — Santa Claus will be back in New Hope-Lambertville this holiday season after a couple of years of COVID-19 restrictions that made it difficult for kids to crawl up on his lap and make their case that they’ve been good boys and girls over the last year.
Visits and pictures with Santa are at the heart of many families’ holiday traditions, but the coronavirus pandemic gave them a lump of coal. Malls and other places took social distancing measures in both 2020 and 2021 to help contain the spread of the virus, moving Santa meet-ups largely online.

- New Hope Borough Tree Lighting and Santa's arrival. Sunday, Nov. 27. Presented by the New Hope Chamber of Commerce and the Logan Inn, the event will unfold at the Logan Inn at 10 West Ferry Street beginning with music at 4 p.m. followed by the tree lighting around 6 p.m. Music will be provided by the New Hope-Solebury High School Choir and Sam Ryan. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be attending the event, according to chamber officials. The holiday celebration continues on Sunday, Dec. 4 with a Holiday Parade through town. The parade is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will march down Bridge and Main streets.
- Holiday Fest, Lambertville Station. Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Games, family activities, pictures with Santa, seasonal food, school choirs, more than 40 specialty vendors and food collection for Fisherman's Mark.
- Plumstead Township Tree Lighting and Santa's arrival. Friday, Dec. 2 beginning at 6 p.m. Hanusey Park, 4757 Goarden Road, Doylestown. Dance performances, ugly sweater contest, Santa's arrival, tree lighting, Santa Meet and Greet. The rain date is Saturday, Dec. 3.
- Peddler’s Village in Lahaska is one of Santa’s favorite places to visit. Kids have the chance to see Santa during the afternoon parades on Holly Jolly Weekend, on weekends for photos at Giggleberry Fair, and more. (He’s been known to pop in for an occasional sing-along, too!)
Santa arrived Nov. 12 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.
Santa will be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston and Orlando. In Bucks County, Santa will be at the Oxford Valley Mall through Dec. 24. Reservations are required, CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
