Winners Announced for Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition

The 25th annual juried photography show continues through June 25.

The Phillips’ Mill Community Association presented awards to photographers as part of the kickoff for the 25th annual Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition, which continues through June 25 in New Hope.

Winners are as follows:

Best of Show: Valerie Pfaff, of Holland, "Vase" and "Redboots"

Best Body of Work: Randy Koslo, of West Windsor, N.J., "Casting" and "Fruits of Labor"

Patron’s Awards: Philip Cox Luth, of Princeton, N.J., "Colorful Construction"

Mickie Rosen, of Jenkintown, "Feathernest" and "Escape"

John Wells, of Pennington, N.J., "Mural"

Deborah Glessner, of Churchville, "Gridlock"

Christopher Kennedy, of Doylestown, "Firefly Tree"

Jacqueline Sofia, of Doylestown, "How it Feels to be Free #2"

Judges Award: Judges: Wendy Brusca, of Langhorne, "Spinning" and "Katie and Barbie"

Spencer Saunders Award: John Clarke "Young Love" and "Girl by the Pyramid"

In all, the exhibition features 124 photos, which were selected from a pool of 462.

Claudia Davis, the show’s co-chair, said the show saw a significant number of submissions from newcomers – many that had never entered a show.

The exhibition is juried by Sandra Dillon, a Bucks County native and photographer, painter and videographer; Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition founder Spencer Saunders; and Paula Chamlee, a Bucks County photographer and painter.

The 25th annual Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition will be held through June 25 at the Phillips’ Mill Community Association, 2619 River Road in New Hope. The show is open Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $5 for non-members, members are free.
