Winter Fair Bringing Magic Of The Season To River Valley School

While activities and performances will catch the interest of all ages, the occasion is particularly magical for children 10 and under.

UPPER BLACK EDDY, PA — River Valley Waldorf School invites the community to its annual Winter Fair, which will celebrate the whimsy of the season.

The public is invited to join friends and neighbors on Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for this seasonal festival taking place both indoors and outdoors throughout the River Valley Waldorf School campus in Upper Black Eddy.

The festivities include holiday musical performances, delicious food and baked goods, an artisan craft market, a secret garden where children can participate in the joy of giving, gingerbread tea, and craft activities for kids.

A visit from King Winter is always part of the magic of the day. There will also be sample classrooms for anyone who wishes to learn more about River Valley Waldorf School.

Designed by parents and middle school students, the school is transformed into a fairy land of winter. While activities and performances will catch the interest of participants of all ages, the occasion is particularly magical for children 10 and under.

Admission to Winter Fair is free. Activity cards can be purchased at the door. In addition to the festivities of the day, River Valley Waldorf is hosting a community food and coat drive. Canned goods and winter coats can be donated in the lobby during the event.
