The Winter Festival kicks off this weekend in Lambertville and New Hope, and promises to add some cheer into your chilly January. The festival goes from Jan. 20 to 28, and features several events for residents of all ages, including concerts, pub crawls, historic walking tours and much more.
To kick things off on Saturday, Jan. 20, there will be a Revolutionary Pub Crawl. There will be two sessions of the crawl, which will take groups on an adventure to "eat, drink, and be merry as they are educated."
Pub crawl stops will feature historians, theatrical performances by re-enactors and by Music Mountain Theater performers, according to organizers. Sessions will be held at noon and 3:30 p.m. An after party will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at Havana. Tickets are $50 and include after party admission. Click here for tickets.

The Impression Sips Paint Party will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Solebury Historical Society. Learn to paint while sipping an adult beverage of your choice. This is a BYOB event. "We supply the canvases, brushes, paints, aprons, and expert step-by-step instruction. We serve apple cider and appetizers. All you need to bring is your sense of fun and the adult beverage of your choice," according to the event page.

On Sunday, there will be the Kalmia Club Winter Fun event from 2 to 5 p.m. at 39 York Street in Lambertville. The event, a fundraiser for the Kalmia Club, will feature make-your-own s’mores, hot cider and cocoa along with activities such as a snowmen photo op, live music, origami, a coloring station, a 50/50 raffle and more. The cost is $10 per family.
Next weekend, a full slate of activities are planned, including the popular Chili Cook Off, historic walking tours of both New Hope and Lambertville, a Musical Pub Crawl, a Beef n' Brew and much more.

- Winter Walking Food & Shop Tour (Tuesday, Jan. 23)
- Jamaican Jam at Karla's Restaurant (Wednesday, Jan. 24)

- John Hall Band Reunion Concert at New Hope Winery (Friday, Jan. 26)
