$1 Halloween Movie For Kids Sunday At Newtown Theatre

The Newtown Theatre will screen two Halloween movies for kids this month at the budget-friendly price of $1 for children 12 and younger. The first screening is this weekend, when "Paranorman" will be shown at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Then on Oct. 30, and "Hotel Transylvania" will be screened. Tickets are $5 for adults.

The movie schedule is:

• Sunday, October 23, 2 p.m.: Paranorman
• Sunday, October 30, 2 p.m.: Hotel Transylvania

The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street, Newtown.
