Niche.com, a website that uses various data to rank schools and communities, recently released its 2016 Best Place To Raise a Family list.

The list was created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family-friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC and other sources, according to Niche.com's website.

The top town to raise a family in Pennsylvania is Devon, a suburb of Philadelphia in Chester County. Devon, which received high grades for schools and family-friendly amenities, also ranked number one on the national list of Best Places to Raise a Family In America.
