$10M NAC Expansion Project Moves Forward
The project is called "breaking boundaries."

A major renovation project at the Newtown Athletic Club is moving forward, with the plans receiving the support of local officials during a meeting this week.
The $10 million project at the Pheasant Run facility will double the size of the club’s locker rooms, expand the fitness center, add a heated outdoor lap pool and reconfigure the in-house spa, according to information from the NAC.
The NAC is calling the project “Breaking Boundaries.”

The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the preliminary land development plans for the Breaking Boundaries renovation project during a meeting Tuesday, the Newtown Advance reported.
The project, which follows a recent overhaul at the club that saw the addition of an outdoor swimming complex, will add a total of 30,000 square-feet to the club.
The NAC said improvements to the locker room are a much needed-improvement due to recent membership growth. “Our vision is to design adult locker rooms that are luxurious and relaxing offering a resort style environment,” according to information from the NAC.
Also as part of the improvements, the in-house Urban Allure Salon and Spa will be reconfigured. “Our goal is to offer the style, status and amenities of a five star resort salon and spa,” the NAC explained.
