11-Month-Old Baby Killed In Bucks Co. Crash

Breaking: An 11-month-old baby was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon on Street Road in Bucks County.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — An 11-month-old baby was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon on Street Road in Upper Southampton Township, according to police. Three others were injured.

The crash happened just after 12:30 p.m. at Street Road and Gravel Hill Road. A car going east on Street Road struck a car going southbound on Gravel Hill Road, police said.

The baby was in the back seat of the car driving on Street Road. He was unconscious when police arrived. The driver of that car had to be extricated by the Southampton Fire Company. The baby, the driver, and the passenger were transported to Abington Hospital by the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, police said.

Officers performed life-saving efforts on the baby until Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad arrived. He later died at the hospital from his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle traveling south on Gravel Hill Road was also taken to Abington Hospital by the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad.

The identities of those involved were not released by police.
