NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA. — To salute our nation’s veterans, the historic Newtown Theatre will present “Stars & Stripes: A Vintage Variety Show” on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. A percentage of ticket sales from this event will be donated to the Travis Manion Foundation.

This 1940s-style show will loosely mimic a WWII-era revue with live swing music, newsreels, comedy, cabaret and more. It will capture the spirit of late-war GI encampments in the European and Pacific theaters, towing the line between reenactment, education, and entertainment.

The public is invited to enjoy an afternoon of nostalgia, old-style glamor, snazzy hosts, quippy comedians – all with a patriotic flair.
