2 Council Rock Elementary Schools Among Top 100 In Pennsylvania, New Ranking Says

Sol Feinstone​ was the top-ranked Council Rock elementary school on the newly-released list. Another local school was in the top 100.

NEWTOWN, PA — Council Rock School District had an impressive showing in a new ranking of the best elementary schools in Pennsylvania.

The ranking, done by information analysts Niche.com, was based on "rigorous analysis" of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as reviews from students and parents, the website said.

Two Council Rock elementary schools were included in the list's top 100 across the state. Sol Feinstone Elementary School in Upper Makefield was the top-ranked Council Rock elementary school, coming in 75th. Wrightstown Elementary School in Wrightstown Township also made the top 100, coming in 99th.

Central Bucks' Titus Elementary School was the highest-ranked elementary school in all of Bucks County, coming in 32nd. The highest-ranked school in all of Pennsylvania was Ithan Elementary School in the Radnor Township School District, which also finished in 16th place nationwide.

Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district, according to Niche.com.
