Two officers with the Newtown Township Police Department were promoted during the Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, April 11.
Detective Sergeant Jason Harris was promoted to lieutenant and Detective Daniel Bartle was promoted to detective corporal. Bartle will now supervise the operations of the department's Detective Bureau.
