The 29th annual Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parade is Saturday and will feature a new route this year.
Due to the closing of St. Joseph the Worker parish by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, this year’s parade will begin instead at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, on Wistar Road in Fairless Hills, according to organizers.
The parade begins at 10:30 am. Be sure to bundle up. Saturday's forecast is calling for sunny but cold weather. The high temperature will be in the low 30s.

Here is the parade route, according to organizers: it will proceed down New Falls Road, in the opposite direction from previous parades, before ending at the Levittown American Baseball Fields in Falls Township (directly across from the Thornridge Shopping Center).
The 2017 Parade Grand Marshals are Frank Frazier and Robert McCarthy.

"Both men have a long history of service to their communities, and have marched in every Parade, going back to the very first in 1989, with the Ancient Order of the Hibernians. For the past 10 years, Frank and Bob have run the Hibernian Golf Outing, raising almost $100,000 for various charities. Both men were jointly named “Hibernian of the Year” in 2011 for their efforts," according to an announcement from organizers.
The theme of this year’s parade is, “Honor, Faith and Service”, recognizing the life-long efforts of the Grand Marshals. More than two thousand marchers will once again be participating in the parade. Marchers include pipe bands, Irish dance groups, local marching bands, South Philadelphia-based mummers and string bands, local law enforcement and emergency responders, veterans, local businesses, charitable organizations, St. Patrick himself and more.
The public is invited to begin the day at a special Catholic mass honoring the Grand Marshals, at 8 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini church in Fairless Hills.
More details on the festivities can be found at the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee’s Facebook page.
