2017 Newtown Movies In The Park Schedule Released

NEWTOWN, PA — Newtown Movies in the Park organizers have released the full 2017 season schedule. The popular outdoor family movie series kicks off June 28 at Linton Memorial Park. Movies are free. They begin at 8 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park, which is across the street from the CVS in Newtown Borough.

Here is the schedule:

• June 28: "Sing" rated PG
• July 12: "Moana" rated PG
• July 19: "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" rated PG-13
• July 26: "The Secret Life Of Pets" rated PG
• Aug. 2: "School of Rock" rated PG-13

Bring a blanket and snack. Free popcorn is offered. The event is sponsored by the Newtown Borough Recreation Board.
