U.S. Senate

Two-term Democratic incumbent Bob Casey Jr., 57, is unopposed for the Democratic nomination. He'll face the winner of the Republican race pitting U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta of Hazleton against state Rep. Jim Christiana of Beaver County.

Pennsylvania Governor
Incumbent Tom Wolf is unopposed for the Democratic nomination. Vying for the Republican nomination are state Sen. Scott Wagner of York County, retired businessman and U.S. Army veteran Paul Mango of Pittsburgh and attorney Laura Ellsworth of Pittsburgh.
Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor
Incumbent Mike Stack faces a plethora of Democratic challengers, including Braddock Mayor John Fetterman, Chester County Commissioner Kathi Cozzone, Lancaster County Commissioner Craig Lehman, Montgomery County Commissioner Ray Sosa and Nina Ahmad, a former aide to Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.
Republicans seeking the nomination are Washington County Commissioner Diane Irey Vaughan, management consultant and Bellevue councilwoman Kathy Coder, Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale, Montgomery County developer Jeff Bartos and pro-life advocate Peg Luksik.
U.S. Representative 1st Congressional District
Three Democrats are vying to represent Bucks County in Congress. Environmentalist Steve Bacher of Lower Makefield Township faces Rachel Reddick, a Navy veteran from Bedminster Township, and Scott Wallace, an attorney and founder of a charitable foundation from Buckingham Township. In the Republican race, Dean Malik will challenge incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick.
PA's 143rd Legislative District
Two Democrats are facing off to represent the 143rd district, which includes part of Buckingham, as well as Bedminster, Bridgeton, Doylestown, Durham, Haycock, Nockamixon, Plumstead and Tinicum townships and Doylestown and Riegelsville boroughs. The candidates include Tim Brennan of Doylestown Borough and Wendy Ullman of Plumstead Township.
Special Election: PA's 178th Legislative District
A special election is being held Tuesday to choose a new state representative to finish out former state Rep. Scott Petri's term for the rest of the year. Helen Tai, a Democrat, and Wendi Thomas, a Republican, are running to represent voters in Northampton, New Hope, Upper Makefield, Wrightstown and Solebury.
