​A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued across the Philadelphia region for sleet, freezing rain and snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued across the Philadelphia region for sleet, freezing rain, and possible snow expected overnight. Plus, two additional chances for winter weather exist in the early week forecast.

The Winter Weather Advisory starts at 10 p.m. Sunday and goes through Monday at noon.

Mixed precipitation is expected., with total snow accumulations up to two inches expected and ice accumulations of a light glaze possible, the NWS said. "Locally higher amounts of snow are possible, especially if little mixing occurs," the advisory said.

Forecasters are warning commuters to plan on slippery road conditions Monday morning. "The hazardous conditions will likely impact the Monday morning commute," the advisory warns.

There are two more chances for winter weather early in the week. There's another chance of snow in the forecast for Monday night, when one to three inches could fall. Then Tuesday evening, forecasters are calling for a chance of snow and sleet, with two to four inches possible.

Tonight: Snow, mainly after 11pm. Low around 28. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Monday: A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow between noon and 1pm, then a chance of rain, snow, and sleet after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 28. East wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tuesday: Rain and snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet before noon, then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet between noon and 1pm, then rain after 1pm. High near 38. East wind 10 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Tuesday Night: Rain before 4am, then rain and snow likely. Low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Snow likely before 7am. Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.
