3-Hour Delay For Council Rock Schools Thursday

NEWTOWN, PA — Council Rock Schools will have a three-hour delay Thursday, Jan. 31 due to extremely cold temperatures in the forecast. Morning kindergarten is canceled.

According to Council Rock officials, because the wind chill is forecasted to be -23 at 6 a.m. and -12 at 9 a.m., there will be a three-hour delay.

Bucks County is under a Code Blue advisory. A Wind Chill Advisory is also in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday through 10 a.m. Friday.

Council Rock schools also had a delay Wednesday.

Temperatures are expected to rise to the 20s on Friday, the 30s on Saturday, and the 40s on Sunday.
