Winning Powerball Jackpot Numbers: 3 PA Friends Win $291M

A Pennsylvania man and two friends are the winners of Wednesday's $291.4 million Powerball jackpot.

James Stocklas, 67, of Bethlehem, bought the winning ticket in Florida at the end of a vacation with some friends and family. He purchased the winning ticket with two of those friends. The trio will split a lump-sum payment of $191,470,307, according to the Florida Lottery.

Stocklas, a senior judge from Northampton County, spent about a month fishing in the Florida Keys and got the winning ticket in Marathon on his drive back.

Two days later, Stocklas arrived back home and resumed his daily routine, which starts with going to breakfast at Chris' Diner in Upper Macungie, according to WFMZ.

"Before I began drinking my coffee or reading the paper, I pulled up the news on my phone and saw a headline about a Florida Powerball winner," Socklas said in a statement released by the Florida Lottery. "I got my Powerball ticket out of my wallet to check the numbers, and sure enough, I was the jackpot winner!"

Once he knew he was the winner, he bought breakfast for everyone in the restaurant, then called his friends and family to say they were headed back to Florida.

The other winners are Hellertown business owner Barry Bartakovits and a local woman who has not been identified, the Morning Call reported.

Stocklas claimed the prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. He is pictured in the photo above with his brother, who also won during Wednesday's drawing but will take home a more modest sum ($7).

Stocklas said he's only an occasional lottery player.

The winning numbers were 12-13-44-52-62 and the Powerball was 06. The winning ticket was purchased at Tom Thumb on Overseas Highway in Marathon, which will get a $85,000 selling bonus.

Th jackpot had been rolling since January 16, following the record-setting $1.58 billion prize.
