The 50 Safest School Districts In Pennsylvania

How safe is your child's school? Recent events, including last week's school shooting in Florida, have put student safety in the forefront, and one data compiler has revealed which Pennsylvania school districts rank highest in this category.

Niche.com recently released its list of the Safest School Districts for 2018, which was created using information from the U.S. Department of Education, the FBI, parent reviews and other data.

To compile the ranking, 50 percent was based on parent and student surveys on health and safety. Student absenteeism, suspensions and expulsions were also factored into the rankings, well as percentage of students referred to law enforcement and school-related arrests.

In fact, Niche.com has determined the safest school district in the entire country is right here in suburban Philadelphia. Radnor Township School District was listed as number one in the United States, as well as in Pennsylvania.
