8 People Apply For Vacant Newtown Twp Supervisor Seat

The eight applicants will be interviewed during a special meeting on July 18. It starts at 5 p.m.

Eight residents have applied for an available Newtown Township Board of Supervisors seat left vacant following the resignation of Jen Dix.

Dix resigned June 30. Her family is moving out of town this summer, she said.

The person appointed will serve as a board member through January 2020.

According to information shared by Supervisor John Mack, eight people have applied. They will be interviewed during a special meeting on July 18. It starts at 5 p.m.
