$840K In Heroin, Meth Seized At Country Club Apartments: Cops

Three men from Virginia are facing drug charges following the Wednesday bust.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Three men have been charged by authorities in Bucks County after more than $840,000 worth of suspected heroin and crystal methamphetamine were seized at Country Club Apartments in Middletown Township, the Bucks County District Attorney announced Friday.

The man, all from Virginia, were arrested Wednesday after delivering some 5.5 lbs of heroin and 1 pound of meth to a cooperating source at the apartment complex.

The heroin alone is valued at about $800,000 and the street value of the methamphetamine is approximately $44,000, the DA's office said.

The following people were charged:

  • Jose Alfredo Castro, 22, of Alexandria VA
  • Martin Alberto Vitela, 24, of Alexandria VA
  • Fabian Rodriguez Sandoval, 26, of Stafford VA

Each of the accused faces felony counts of possession with intent to deliver.

The men were arraigned and bail was set at at 10 percent of $1 million.

Middletown Township Police assisted Bucks County detectives in the investigation.
