Acme Proposal To Sell Beer At Newtown Store To Be Considered Wednesday
Acme wants to sell beer at its Newtown location, but first it must get liquor license transfer approval.

Acme's request to open a Frosted Mug cafe at its Newtown store will be up for consideration in front of the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors during a meeting Wednesday.

According to the proposal, Acme wants to renovate the interior of the existing store to add a 30-seat restaurant that will serve prepared food and beer for on-premises consumption, township officials tell Patch.
The liquor license transfer approval was originally scheduled for a Newtown Township Supervisors meeting in May but was rescheduled until June.
