Fire Damages Garage In Newtown Crossing Development
Firefighters from Newtown, Northampton, Langhorne-Middletown, and Yardley-Makefield responded to the scene.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Fire damaged a garage Wednesday afternoon on Delaware Court in the Newtown Crossing section of the township.
On September 11, firefighters from four companies responded to the scene just before 5 p.m. for the report of a building fire.
Northampton Township's Engine 73, which was clearing an EMS call, responded to the scene along with Rescue 45 from Newtown Fire Rescue.

When firefighters arrived they found a garage on fire with smoke showing.
Firefighters from Engine 73 stretched a handline while Rescue 45 secured a water supply and pulled a backup line. Northampton's Rescue 3, Newtown's Ladder 45, Middletown Fire & Emergency Services Engine 244 and Engine 22, and Yardley-Makefield Engine 80 also assisted at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
