The salon will be a celebratory gathering honoring the exhibiting artists, the ArtWRKD community, and the conversations that have unfolded.

NEWTOWN, PA — To close out its current exhibition, "Ideology of Revolution," ArtWRKD invites the public to "An Afternoon Salon" on Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The salon will be a celebratory gathering honoring the exhibiting artists, the ArtWRKD community, and the many conversations that have unfolded throughout the exhibition's run.
Presented in conjunction with Newtown Borough's America 250 Celebration, the salon offers visitors the opportunity to spend an afternoon engaging directly with artists, reflecting on the themes of the exhibition, and celebrating the role of art in civic life.

"Inspired by the great salons that have long served as spaces for the exchange of ideas, the afternoon embraces conversation over presentation," said the gallery's founder and curator Ashara Shapiro. "Visitors are encouraged to move through the exhibition at their own pace, meet the artists, ask questions, and participate in the ongoing dialogue that has defined The Ideology of Revolution."

The Afternoon Salon serves as the culminating celebration of "The Ideology of Revolution" and ArtWRKD's contribution to Newtown Borough's America 250 festivities, reaffirming the gallery's commitment to creating spaces where art becomes a catalyst for curiosity, thoughtful dialogue, and meaningful community connection.
