Alexander Hamilton Historian To Hold Free Program At Washington Crossing Park

Historian Rand Scholet, who has been featured on C-SPAN, will discuss Alexander Hamilton on April 20 at Washington Crossing Park.

We've all heard “Hamilton” is a hot ticket on Broadway but how much do you know about Alexander Hamilton himself? If you're interested in learning more, then mark your calendar for Thursday, April 20.

Historical analyst Rand Scholet will present “Alexander Hamilton: Washington’s Indispensable Partner” at the Washington Crossing Historic Park visitor center. Scholet is president and founder of the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society and is a frequent speaker and sought-after scholar on the life of Alexander Hamilton, according to an announcement from the park.

He has been featured on C-SPAN, at several National Park sites and numerous historical societies.

"His talk will offer a fresh look at who really deserves the utmost credit for contributing to George Washington’s successes, as well as the vision and foundations that have served America so well. He also will illustrate how the seven key Founding Fathers contributed to Washington’s success, especially during the Revolutionary War and his two terms as U.S. President.

Admission is free. The program gets underway at 7 p.m. The Washington Crossing Historic Park visitor center is on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River.
