All Saints Cemetery Holds Open Blessing to Celebrate Grand Opening of the Only Catholic Cemetery in Newtown, Pa.
On May 9, from 1-3 PM, a very special blessing and grand opening event will be held to celebrate the opening of the All Saints Cemetery
Newtown, Pa. [May 7, 2015]— For 45 years, the grounds of All Saints Cemetery have sat bare, with no grave markers, flowers or flags. Now, the wait is over, and the Catholic Community in Bucks County can rejoice, as All Saints Cemetery has finally opened its gates.
Located in Newtown, Pa, the cemetery occupies over 300 beautiful acres of land, with just about 20 acres currently developed. All Saints is the only Catholic Cemetery in Newtown with available burial plots. All Saints Cemetery is located at 291 W. Durham Rd. & Wrights Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
The developed land already includes a large, beautiful bronze statue of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, which overlooks the vast property. In addition to a future garden mausoleum, there will also be niches for cremated remains, creating intimate spaces on the vast grounds.

Members of the community are invited to the grounds from 1-3 PM on Saturday, May 9. Monsignor Michael Picard of St. Andrew Catholic Church will officiate the Blessing Ceremony and lead the community in a short prayer. The St. Andrews parish boasts the largest Catholic congregation in Bucks County.
The blessing will take place on the grounds and attendees will be shuttled to the location from St. Andrews School, where parking is available. Family Service Counselors will also be on hand to assist attendees in learning more about All Saints.

Those in attendance will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a burial space at no cost at All Saints.
