American Flag Reported Stolen From Newtown Borough Business

The Newtown Borough Police Department is asking for the public's help in helping to find the flag.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA - Police are looking for the person responsible for pulling down an American flag at Countryside Frame and Design and then leaving the area with the flag.

According to police, during strong winds on Jan. 13 a flag that hangs on the building at 2 South State Street broke. Someone subsequently pulled the flag down and left the area with the flag, police said.

Newtown Borough Police are currently checking local cameras in an attempt to identify the person responsible for taking the flag.
