• Bucks County Community College Hosts Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Sept. 15–17 (bucksco.today) — Newtown residents can get free or insurance-covered flu and COVID-19 shots at Bucks County Community College's Newtown Campus Gateway Center on Thursday, September 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinics, also running earlier in the week in Bristol and Perkasie, are open to the whole community and aim to remove cost barriers, so bring your ID and insurance or Medicare cards if you have them.
   

• Here's Bucks County's National Merit Scholarship semifinalists (phillyburbs.com) — Several Newtown students from Council Rock North and George School have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, standing out among more than 16,000 high-achieving seniors nationwide. The list highlights top scholars across Bucks County, giving local families a look at which area schools and towns are represented in this prestigious academic honor.
   

• The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission awards $4 million to museums across state (bucksindependence.com) — Newtown residents can celebrate a $6,000 state grant awarded to the Newtown Historical Association as part of nearly $4 million in cultural and historical support statewide. The funding helps local museums and historical groups preserve Pennsylvania's heritage, with several Bucks County institutions—alongside Newtown's—receiving operating support for exhibits, programs, and preservation work.
