Scholarships from the LKT Memorial Foundation are awarded annually to graduating Council Rock students in need who will be pursuing continuing education at college or trade school. This year, the foundation will also be awarding scholarships to students in need in the areas that were devastated by recent hurricanes.
"We honor Lauren Talbot's memory with this special student centered event. Lauren is a CR North alumni, who was involved in athletics and videography. The scholarship recipients selected each year embody Lauren's spirit, kindness, volunteerism, and friendship," according to an event announcement.
