Annual Newtown Business Expo is Sept. 18

Seventy local businesses will showcase their goods and services during Newtown Business Association’s annual expo on Sept. 18.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the free event, which will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club. 

This is the 7th Annual NBA Business Expo and this year’s theme is “Think Global…Shop Local…Music to My Ears.”

The event will feature raffles for prizes as well as free food samples from 10 area restaurants.

The NBA expects about 700 people will attend the event. 

“The mission of the NBA is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business, thereby enhancing the economic vitality of the community for member businesses through networking, education, community involvement and coop advertising opportunities,” according to information from organization.
