Annual Newtown Egg Hunt Set For April 13

The Newtown Business Association will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 at Goodnoe Elementary School.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Business Association will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 at Goodnoe Elementary School.

All are welcome to attend the old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt for both children and adults. "Along with various age group sections we will have a section for blind children with eggs that have beepers," organizers said.

In addition to the hunt, the Easter Bunny will be there.

To participate, come to Goodnoe Elementary School, 298 Frost Lane, in Newtown at 8:30 am to meet the Easter Bunny. The hunt will start promptly at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is not necessary.

"This lively event is over in less than one half hour and will create memories for all," organizers said.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Lower Bucks Food Bank. Member businesses of the NBA will be donating prizes for the event.

The First National Bank & Trust of Newtown donates 3500 plastic Easter eggs, which will be filled with prizes and with candy donated by Sam’s Club.

The rain date for the event is April 20.
