Another Pizza Restaurant Opening In Newtown

NEWTOWN, PA — Do you like pizza? If you live in Newtown, you better. Because there a lot of pizzerias here. A lot.

Do you like your pizza traditional? Then head over to Newtown Pizza, Piccolo or Marco's. But if you like it wood fired, then check out Meglio's. How about brick-oven cooked? There's Acqua e Farina for that. How about organic and all-natural? We've got you covered: Jules.

Now one more will join the mix: Francesco's Pizzeria is opening up in the Newtown Business Commons, where Cosi was once located. The newest Newtown pizza shop will be a 62-seat restaurant, the Newtown Advance reports. An opening date has not yet been announced.

There are already at least nine existing pizza restaurants in Newtown borough and Newtown township. Plus, at least two others in nearby Wrightstown Township, which shares the 18940 ZIP code.

The existing pizza restaurants include: Jules Thin Crust; Dolce Carini Pizzeria; Newtown Pizza; Domino's; Meglio; Acqua e Farina; Piccolo Trattoria; Marco's; Mom Mom’s Gourmet Take N’ Bake; Adriana's Little Italy (Wrightstown); and Dominick's (Wrightstown).
