Another Underage Drinking Party Busted In Newtown
It was the second reported bust of a large underage party so far this month in Newtown Township.

NEWTOWN, PA — Police in Newtown Township broke up another underage drinking party on June 13. It was the second reported bust of a large underage party so far this month. On June 9, 41 were cited for underage drinking during a bust of a party in Wiltshire Walk.
During the latest incident, police were dispatched to the area of Meridian Circle at 11:20 p.m. for the report of what sounded to be a large party in the woods. Officers arrived and reported they could hear loud music, which led them to the location of the party on Lower Dolington Road.
"As contact was being made with the individuals, numerous individuals were seen and heard running through the wooded area and power lines," police said.

One male was observed to be experiencing what appeared to be an alcohol overdose, police said. A girl sustained several lacerations to her legs while running through the woods, so an ambulance was summoned by police.
Eleven people will receive citations charging them with underage drinking, police said.
