Athletic Association To Donate Dugouts At Newtown Elementary

The Council Rock School Board will accept a dugout donation from the Council Rock Newtown Athletic Association at Thursday’s meeting.

Council Rock Newtown Athletic Association has offered to donate the construction of home and visitors’ dugouts at the baseball field located at the Newtown Elementary School.

“This donation request follows previous donations at the same field including outfield fencing and the installation of a yard hydrant to maintain the field,” the agenda states.

The donation is valued at $8,000 and work will be performed by insured and licensed contractors.
