​Back to School: Council Rock 2022-23 School Calendar

NEWTOWN, Pa. — The first day of school in the Council Rock School District is just around the corner.

Teachers are scheduled to return to the classroom on August 23, 24 and 25 for three days of professional development.

The first day of school for students in K-6 and 7 and 9 students is Monday, Aug. 29, while all students report to school on Tuesday, August 30.

Here is the list of dates you need to know for the upcoming 2022-23 school year:

First Day: Monday, Aug. 29 for grades K-6, 7 and 9 only; Tuesday, Aug. 30, for all grades.

Labor Day: Sept. 2 and 5 (schools closed)

Rosh Hashanah: Sept. 26 and 27 (schools closed)

Yom Kippur: Oct. 5 (schools closed)

Diwali: Oct. 24 (schools closed)

Election Day: Nov. 8 (schools closed)

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 (schools closed)

Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan.2 (schools closed)

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 16 (schools closed)

Presidents’ Day: Feb. 20 (schools closed)

Spring Break: April 6 to 10 (schools closed)

Memorial Day: May 29 (schools closed)

Last Day Of School (tentative): June 9
