Barry said he will focus on improving public safety and fiscal management if elected to borough council.

NEWTOWN, PA — Sean Barry, a lifelong Newtown resident, is running for an open seat on the Newtown Borough Council in Ward 1.
"As I begin to build a family here in Newtown, I am inspired to ensure Newtown is the best it
can be – not just for me, but for all residents, present and future," he said in a press release. "I want to bring a new voice and new perspective to Borough Council. My unique skills and experience make me an excellent candidate for Borough Council. As the COO of my family’s local small business and with previous career experience in accounting, I have a deep understanding of budget management, making tough decisions, and understanding what is right for our clients, employees, and community."
Barry continued, “As your Councilman, I will focus on three things: (1) improving public safety, (2) preserving and investing in our green spaces to improve recreation and relaxation opportunities, and (3) fiscal management. In addition, I’m committed to listening to and working with all residents to ensure that your voices are heard and your concerns are addressed. I am honored to announce this campaign and humbly ask for your support.”
