BB Strikes Council Rock School Bus, Juvenile In Custody: Police
According to police, the bus was struck by a projectile causing damage to its side window. There were no injuries reported.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A juvenile was taken into police custody Wednesday afternoon shortly after a BB struck a school bus on Swamp Road adjacent to Council Rock High School.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. as school was letting out for the day.
After arriving on the scene, police located witnesses, secured the scene and immediately apprehended a juvenile. A BB weapon believed to be involved in the incident was also recovered.

The District Attorney’s office and the Newtown Township Police Department are investigating.

There are no ongoing community safety concerns and due to the age of the alleged offender, no additional information will be released, police said.
School district officials are aware of the incident and are working in cooperation with the Newtown Township Police.
