BCABVI receives $4,500 donation
The Bookin' for Lookin' 2015 Race raised funds for visually impaired in Bucks County
Bookin’ for Lookin’ Foundation President, Marc McCowan presented a check for $4,500 to Anne Marie Hyer, Executive Director of the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (BCABVI). Funds raised from the foundation’s 2015 Race will be used to provide services for residents of Bucks County who are blind and visually impaired. Over 200 runners participated in the annual race, choosing between the 8 mile, 5k and kid’s fun run.
“We are so grateful to Marc and all the volunteers who coordinated this fantastic event.” said Ms. Hyer. “This race demonstrates when local non-profits partner together, we can make an even greater impact on our community.”
