The show stars: Dakota Lara, Sarah Harrison, Tessa McHugh, Ian Perkins, Kyra Bernotas, Blake Churchill, Maggie Drohan, Elizabeth Turner, Bishop Corney, Cerena Haywood and Micheal Scott.

I recently got the chance to ask Cali Wagner, the director of the show, a few questions about the show and what makes it a musical you do n0t want to miss.

Q: "What Makes First Date a special kind of musical?"

Cali: First Date is a rom-com brought to Broadway. It goes inside the minds of two main characters, Casey and Aaron, to show the stress we all feel while going on a first date. It brings to light the awkward pauses we all have, while also talking about serious issues like their different faith and families.

Q: "How much work is going into making the show?"

Cali: The amount of work going into the show is insane. We have been having rehearsal 3 times a week for 2 months, and on the days we are not meeting, we are still getting things together for the show. This show is one of my favorites and I have been working on it day and night. I am very blessed to have a amazing assistant director, Emma Sabol, and a wonderful music director, Nathan Brady, to help me through the process. Without them, this show wouldn't be possible. We have spent so many hours getting sets together, working on marketing the show and helping our cast develop their characters.

Q: "What are audiences who attend the show in for?"

Cali: People attending the show are in for lots of music, lots of laughs and of course, lots of romance.

First Date opens on November 22nd and you can get your tickets right here: First Date Tickets
