BCCC Hosting Fundraiser Concert For Dominic Liples Saturday Night

The Bucks County Community College is joining the fight to help 8-year-old Dominic Liples battle his brain tumor diagnosis by hosting a Pray For Dominic Concert fundraiser Saturday night.

According to the concert's Facebook page, the concert will feature DK Robin, Marisa Salamone, Floyd and the Barbers, Duece, and Face the Tide.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the college's Zlock Performing Arts Center, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown. The concert is scheduled to end at 11 p.m.

Dominic was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor in March and has since undergone surgeries and radiation therapy to battle the diagnosis.

Recently doctors told the Liples family that the tumor had grown despite the chemo treatments, according to the PrayForDominic.com. The doctors then presented Dominic with a new treatment plan that included an upcoming surgery followed by immunotherapy.

The Pray For Dominic Facebook page said Dominic's planned surgery had to be done sooner due to pressure building in his head. As of Thursday, Oct. 27, Dominic was doing well and gave his supporters a thumbs up and a thank you on the Facebook page.

The Bucks County community has rallied behind Dominic through prayer services and even songs written just for Dominic.
