BCCC Showing Film On American Poverty For Free Nov. 28

Millions across America are struggling daily to make it above the poverty line.

Bucks County Community College invites the public to the next screening in its new Movie Mondays series with The Line: Poverty in America on Monday, Nov. 28.

The film documents the stories of people across the country living at or below the poverty line. The film will be followed by a discussion led by representatives of the Bucks County Housing Group.

Admission is free and the screening begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Kevin and Sima Zlock Performing Arts Center, located inside the Gateway Center on the campus at 275 Swamp Road, Newtown.

The public is also invited to a reception featuring free pizza at 6 p.m. before each film in the Gateway Center Atrium, located just outside the auditorium.

Movie Mondays, part of the Bucks Live! series of events presented by the college’s Cultural Affairs Committee, presents thought-provoking films of vital interest to the community.
