'The Big Lebowski' Themed Night Coming Up At The Newtown Theatre

White Russians will be for sale during the film.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Theatre will screen the classic film "The Big Lebowski" next month during a special event that will feature movie trivia, White Russians for sale, and a costume contest.

Yes, that's right, “The Dude” will return to the big screen on Nov. 17 at the local theatre on N. State Street.

The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. Dress in your best Lebowski attire to win prizes.

Admission is $10 for everyone and $5 for theatre members.

"Released in 1998, The Big Lebowski stars Jeff Bridges as The Dude, a Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler who is assaulted as a result of mistaken identity. The film has become a cult classic, noted for its idiosyncratic characters, dream sequences, unconventional dialogue and eclectic soundtrack," according to a plot summary from the Newtown Theatre.
