Locations were announced for one $1 million winner and other Pennsylvania Powerball winners as the jackpot has grown to nearly $500 million, according to lottery officials.

A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million from the Wednesday drawing was sold at Shop ‘N Save, 5001 Library Road, Bethel Park, Allegheny County. The ticket correctly matched all five white balls drawn, 10-47-50-65-68, but not the red Powerball 24, to win $1 million, less applicable tax withholding.

The store earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Powerball jackpot, meanwhile, rolled to an estimated annuity value of $478 million, or $330.6 million cash, for the Saturday drawing.

In addition, one winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 from the July 27 drawing was sold at DeLullo’s Deli & Car Wash, 19 John St., Saint Marys, Elk County. That ticket correctly matched four of the five white balls drawn, 10-47-50-65-68, and matched the red Powerball 24, to win $100,000, less applicable tax withholding.

It was sold with the $1 Power Play option, which boosted the prize to $100,000 instead of $50,000 because Wednesday’s multiplier was two, lottery officials said.

Prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners can be identified. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holder of a winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery’s seven area offices.

Claims may be filed at headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices.

More than 114,000 Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the July 27 drawing, including 21,791 tickets purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied their prizes by two.

Players should check every ticket, every time, and immediately sign winning tickets. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at a Lottery retailer.

The Powerball jackpot has been rolling since the May 7 drawing, when a $429.6 million annuity value jackpot was won in New Jersey.

In the 2014-15 fiscal year, in addition to awarding more than $326.9 million in prizes to Allegheny County winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $144.3 million to programs serving the county’s older residents.

In Elk County, in addition to awarding more than $7 million in prizes to winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $3.9 million to programs serving the county’s older residents.
