Former President Bill Clinton stopped by a Bucks County bar and restaurant Saturday while campaigning for his wife, Hillary Clinton, ahead of Tuesday's presidential primary.
Clinton stopped by the the Irish Rover Station House in Langhorne around 6 p.m. and chatted with nearly every patron, the Courier Times reports. He also took photos with the restaurant staff. The photos were posted to the restaurant's Facebook page.
The restaurant's owner, Ray Crouse, told the Courier Times he had "no idea" the former president was coming."It was fantastic to have a former president stop at the Irish Rover Station House. You couldn't ask for anything more."
Tuesday's primary comes just one week after Clinton handed Sanders a crushing double-digit loss in New York. Voters in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Rhode Island will also head to the polls Tuesday.
With Clinton leading the pledged delegate count by nearly 250, according to AP's delegate tracker, Sanders not only needs to win in the Keystone State, he needs to win big because time is running out for him to catch up, analysts say.
