Blanket Drive to Be Held Saturday in Newtown
The drive, organized by Tuesday Afternoon Outreach, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Solutions for Daily Living.
Your warm blanket could make a big difference for someone who is homeless or doesn’t have an adequate heat source.
Help out by participating in a blanket drive this Saturday, Feb. 28 at Solutions for Daily Living, 126 N. State Street, Newtown.
The drive, organized by Tuesday Afternoon Outreach, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Your blankets could make all the difference. Let’s help support the world’s most vulnerable people. Just imagine not feeling warm enough in our every day life or trying to find comfort for sleep,” Linda Elliot, Tuesday Afternoon Outreach founder, said on an event announcement.
Warm, clean blankets will be accepted.
