'Blues Brothers' Coming To The Big Screen In Newtown
Dress as one of the brothers and get in free. Signature cocktails will be served. Happening Aug. 17 at the Newtown Theatre.
NEWTOWN, PA — "The Blues Brothers" will be back on the big screen at the Newtown Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m.
In addition to the movie, there will be a signature cocktail for purchase and a free movie pass for anyone dressed as the iconic brothers.
Admission is $10 for everyone and $5 for theatre members.

This 1980 classic follows brothers Jake (John Belushi) and Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) – collectively known as the Blues Brothers – who are on a mission to raise funds for the orphanage in which they grew up. The two are convinced they can earn the money by getting their old band back together. However, after playing several gigs and making a few enemies, including the police, the brothers face daunting odds to deliver the money on time.
The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
