Bobby Chez Brings His Famous Crabcakes To The Village At Newtown
Bobby Chez Gourmet To Go has opened its doors at the Village At Newtown with hot platters and take-and-bake seafood and chicken dishes.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Bobby Chez Gourmet To Go has opened its doors at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center with one of the best crabcakes around.
Operated by 27-year Newtown Township residents Keith and Andrea Schultz, the new "Gourmet To Go" eatery offers the best of South Jersey's Bobby Chez, which has built a reputation in the Garden State for its famous handmade lump crabcakes.
"If you love crabcakes, you're going to love these," said Keith. "It's exactly what it says. It's jumbo lump crabcake. There's no filler. You will not taste anything like it. It's truly a one and only. And that's why he's been successful. These are the same crabcakes he has been serving for 25 years."

Well known Chef Bobby Chez opened his first Bobby Chez Seafood Specialties store in 1997 in Voorhees, NJ. The store's signature Jumbo Lump Crabcake quickly became famous, winning multiple state and regional awards. Twenty years later, sales volume has leapt to about 30,000 crabcakes per week sold.
This is Bobby Chez's first location in Pennsylvania and its first outside of South Jersey. Bobby's other locations are in Cherry Hill, Sewell, Delran and Collingswood.

It is the quality of the crabcake and the care and creativity that Bobby himself puts into his 100 percent Jumbo Lump Crabcake that has made the Bobby Chez name a staple in thousands of homes throughout South Jersey and will now be making its presence felt in Newtown.
"We have been fans of Bobby's for many years. When were looking for a business to bring to Newtown, we thought Bobby's was perfect. Outside of South Jersey, this will be the only place you can get his famous lump crabcakes and food," said Keith.
Bobby Chez was the first to introduce the "gourmet to go" prepared meal concept in South Jersey.
Bobby's sells partially-cooked seafood and gives customers reheating institutions to finish their meals at home. Each store also serves fully cooked platters for takeout. Call ahead to order. Prep time is about 15 to 20 minutes.
The seafood is purchased fresh from the seafood market every morning and nothing sold is more than one day old. Each day the freshly-prepared food is trucked out to each location.
In addition to its crabcakes, Bobby's sells take-and-bake pan seared salmon, fried flounder, stuffed shrimp, buffalo shrimp, chicken parmigiana, chicken fingers, buffalo wings and a number of hot platters served daily, including its lump crabcake, mini-fried crabcake, jumbo shrimp, buffalo shrimp chicken fingers and wings.
"This is the same Bobby Chez food and quality that you get in Jersey. Now you have the convenience of getting it here in Newtown," said Keith. "It's good food and it's consistently good food."
Bobby's also sells a variety of salads and a number of sides, including its famous mac and cheese, seashore fries, homemade coleslaw, giant onion rings and vegetable platter.
"We have a great location. There's tons of foot traffic. And it seems like a win-win," said Keith. "We know the Newtown clientele and we know they're looking for high quality food. We can give them high quality food and the convenience of taking it home and cooking it at their own convenience."
