Boo! Newtown All Decorated for Halloween

When you’re driving around town, you may notice Newtown is looking a bit spookier.

That’s thanks to the dozens of residents who turned out to participate in the annual Newtown Halloween Art Scene event.

The day featured a chance for residents to paint shop windows with Halloween designs, plus make scarecrows and festive cupcakes. The decorated windows can be found on store windows on Sycamore and State streets.

New this year was a Frankenweenie Pet Parade. Costumed four-legged friends marched throughout town.
