BookLovers Party To Benefit Historic Newtown Library Company
The party is the library's largest fundraiser of the year and has been a favorite of the Newtown community since 2002.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Library Company, the oldest operating library in Bucks County, will hold its 20th annual fundraiser, The BookLovers Party, on Saturday, February 24.
The event will once again take place at The Atrium in the Stocking Works, Newtown Borough, from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, music, dancing, a silent auction, and many raffle items generously donated by local Newtown businesses and organizations.

“We are thrilled to gather our community together once again to celebrate our historic Bucks County gem,” said Donna Gusty, Board President of the Newtown Library Company. “This fundraiser is more than an occasion; it's a lifeline for sustaining our beloved library's growth and impact. Your presence and support ensure that the chapters of our library's future will be as rich and inspiring as the stories within its walls.”
The BookLovers Party is open to the public and tickets can be purchased in advance on Eventbrite or through the Newtown Library Company’s website www.newtownlibrarycompany.org.

Sponsorship and silent auction opportunities are available for this popular event, and are a great way to promote a company to the Newtown community, and include online and event promotion.

The Newtown Library Company, located at 114 East Centre Avenue in Newtown Borough, is the oldest continually operating subscription-based library in Bucks County. The nonprofit relies solely on membership fees and donations for support.
The library hosts a number of ongoing community events including weekly children’s storytime and the Newtown Library Poetry Series, and many fundraisers including its popular Booklover's Party in February and the 5K Run on Newtown Market Day.
In addition to offering the latest New York Times Best Sellers, added on a weekly basis, the library also offers E-books, allowing members to download their books onto their digital devices.
