Borough Republicans to Hold Candidate Screening

The Newtown Borough Republican Committee is seeking candidates to run in this year’s election.

The committee will hold a candidate screening on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Half Moon Inn in Newtown Borough.

Candidates for the following positions will be screened: Borough Council: one representative in the first Ward and two in the second Ward, Constable, one representative in the first and one representative in the second Ward and Council Rock School Board.
