Bridge Repairs Scheduled On Second Street Pike In Wrightstown

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic between Old Anchor Road and Bennett Lane.

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — On Monday, Feb. 20 work crews are expected to begin work on a bridge carrying Route 232 (Second Street Pike) traffic over a branch of Mill Creek in Wrightstown Township.

The work, focused on the bridge's underpinning, is expected to continue through Friday, March 10 with weekly lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic between Old Anchor Road and Bennett Lane.

Built in 1852, the Route 232 structure carries approximately 6,455 vehicles per day.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
